CoastalQuant is developing standardized measurement-and-review workflows for sustainable construction and environmental impact evidence.

Its first proposed offering is a post-construction indoor-air evidence record.

The company is developing environmental-evidence workflows for construction and buildings. Indoor air is the first product category, not the boundary of the CoastalQuant masterbrand.

Planned project evidence record

A planned record designed to combine continuous instrument data transmitted from the project site, laboratory analysis when the pathway requires it, and human review.

Preview proposed fit

A future pre-enrollment step would confirm the project version, receiving party, payer, installer, sampling rules, and applicable workflow.

Planned kit deployment

A proposed preconfigured kit would include project-specific, QR-guided placement and documentation instructions. Once placed, the on-site instrument would transmit measurements over an internet connection from the project site during the planned measurement period. A physical sample would be collected and sent only when the applicable pathway requires accredited laboratory analysis.

Planned measurement period

The future workflow would cover a 14-day measurement period, data transmission from the project site, and any applicable sampling and custody steps.

Planned review and release

Data and supporting records would pass quality checks and human review before any future report could be released.

Some methods would require a qualified on-site sampler. Those projects would remain ineligible for self-deployment unless a suitable partner-performed workflow is established before any future enrollment.

Future applications may address environmental exposure across the building lifecycle, including indoor–outdoor air-quality relationships and project-perimeter conditions. These applications are not currently offered.

In a future service, instrument data—the continuous measurements transmitted from the project site—would support screening, trend analysis, and attribution. An accredited laboratory result would remain separate and be used only when the applicable pathway requires it. No lab-backed CoastalQuant service is currently available.

The team is designing a possible future workflow for eligible private Florida projects. Any pilot pricing or enrollment would follow only after laboratory scope, custody requirements, service timing, and record language are finalized.

Would the proposed service determine credit for a version-specific LEED pre-occupancy pathway?

No. The proposed CoastalQuant workflow is intended to document measurements and supporting evidence for an applicable project pathway. Any certification or credit decision would remain with the relevant program and receiving parties.

Would the proposed service replace version-specific WELL Performance Verification requirements?

No. Version-specific WELL Performance Verification requirements follow their own approved testing-agent and on-site requirements. Any future CoastalQuant offering would be limited to preparatory screening unless CoastalQuant later develops an explicitly authorized service.

Would proposed instrument data be the same as a laboratory result?

No. In the proposed workflow, instrument data would be the continuous measurements transmitted from the project site and would support screening, trends, and attribution. A laboratory result would remain separately identified as an accredited chemical analysis used when the applicable pathway requires it.

Would the 14-day measurement period be the complete turnaround time?

No. Fourteen days is the proposed measurement period. Any future service deadline would also account for preparation, shipping, deployment, data transmission, sample transit when applicable, laboratory processing when required, review, and issuance.

Is the proposed CoastalQuant workflow a mail-in sample test?

No. The proposed workflow would center on an on-site instrument transmitting continuous measurements over the internet from the project site. A physical sample would be collected and sent only when the applicable pathway requires accredited laboratory analysis, under documented custody steps.

Could every future project be self-deployed?

No. Future eligibility would depend on the method, contract, jurisdiction, receiving party, and sampler requirements. Projects requiring a qualified on-site sampler would remain ineligible unless a suitable partner workflow is established.
